Basement Project Details
This basement renovation project includes:
- an open concept family/entertainment room with a fireplace,
- it has a guest bedroom,
- a closed off gym with glass doors; to give you the light but provide privacy,
- it also has a 3 piece bathroom and a bar area.
As you will browse through the pictures you will see how the client made it their own sanctuary and a place what they as a family can fully enjoy.
It was an honour to be working with Tim and Julie Trail and finish their basement, and a year later we have been called back to do a full bathroom renovation on their master bathroom.

In February 2017 we hired Grand Project Contracting to finish our basement. The project went very well. On time, on budget and they exceeded our expectations. Although the quote we were given may have been slightly higher than some of our others, the other builders charged “upgrade” fee’s or many things would have been “add on’s” that were considered standard for Martin and his team. Doing things right with good quality were a given not an “upgrade” or an “add on” for Grand Project Contracting.
They kept things clean and finished in the time line given. We hear so many horror stories from people going through reno’s and have to say this was a very low stress experience for us.
